Overview: New To Education is seeking experienced and passionate Online English Tutors to join our global platform. Tutors should be committed to student-centered learning and capable of tailoring lessons to individual goals across areas such as conversational fluency, academic writing, grammar, pronunciation, and test preparation. Ideal candidates will bring a flexible, professional approach to language instruction and a strong understanding of diverse learner needs in a digital environment..
Key Responsibilities:
Teach English through 1-on-1 lessons, small group classes, or asynchronous (pre-recorded) courses
Develop and deliver engaging, student-centered lessons tailored to language goals such as fluency, grammar, writing, or test preparation
Communicate professionally with students, guardians, or team members regarding lesson goals and progress
Manage your own teaching schedule and keep availability up to date
Uphold our platform’s standards for professionalism, inclusivity, and content quality
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience (in-person or online)
Strong ability to design interactive, goal-oriented English lessons
Proficiency in teaching reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills across various proficiency levels
Reliable internet connection and comfort with digital teaching tools
Self-motivated, well-organized, and responsive to communication
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification
Experience working with children, teenagers, or adult learners
Familiarity with CEFR levels, TOEFL/IELTS preparation, or ESL curriculum design
Comfort using tools like Zoom, Google Workspace, Canva, or LMS platforms
Multilingualism or cross-cultural teaching experience is a plus
Compensation:
Tutors receive 70% of the booking fee and have the flexibility to set their own rates based on their experience, education, and teaching format. High-performing tutors may be eligible for bonuses, featured profile placement, or additional teaching opportunities.
Additional Notes:
Tutors may apply to specialize in Business English, Academic Writing, Test Prep, or Young Learner instruction
