Online Special Education Tutor (Global)

Overview: New To Education is seeking compassionate and dedicated Special Education tutors to join our global platform. Tutors should be committed to student-centered learning and capable of supporting students with diverse needs, including learning disabilities, developmental delays, and behavioral challenges. Whether working with students who require academic modifications, behavioral strategies, or social-emotional support, tutors will tailor instruction to meet each learner’s individual education goals in an inclusive, respectful, and supportive environment..

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1-on-1, group sessions, or asynchronous support for students with diverse learning needs

  • Design and deliver personalized lessons that align with each student’s learning goals and abilities

  • Utilize strategies tailored to students with disabilities, learning differences, or developmental delays

  • Communicate regularly and professionally with students, parents/guardians, and support staff

  • Maintain flexibility in scheduling and keep availability updated

  • Follow New To Education’s content and conduct standards, maintaining professionalism and inclusivity

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience teaching or tutoring students with special needs

  • Strong ability to differentiate instruction and apply student-centered teaching practices

  • Familiarity with IEPs, 504 plans, and inclusive education methods

  • Reliable internet access and proficiency with online teaching tools

  • Patient, compassionate, and well-organized

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree or certification in Special Education or a related field

  • Experience supporting students with a range of disabilities or learning needs

  • Familiarity with digital tools like Zoom, Google Workspace, educational apps, or assistive technology

Compensation:
Tutors receive 70% of the booking fee, with flexibility to set their own rates based on experience and services. Bonuses and recognition may be awarded for outstanding student feedback and performance.

Additional Notes:

  • Tutors may apply to specialize in areas like ADHD support, Autism Spectrum, Dyslexia, or Behavioral Interventions

  • Materials must remain professional, appropriate, and inclusive
