New To Education Platform Update: Face-to-Face Classes, Mobile App Development, Seminars, and More

Since launching New To Education, one thing has become increasingly clear: people want more ways to learn, connect, and grow.

Whether you are a student looking for academic support, a parent searching for educational opportunities, an educator sharing your expertise, a business seeking visibility, or simply someone exploring new ways to learn, our goal has always been to create a platform that brings people together through education, professional development, and meaningful opportunities.

The updates below represent some of the biggest steps we have taken so far as we continue building the future of New To Education.

Face-to-Face Classes in Japan

We are excited to announce the launch of our face-to-face class pilot program in Japan.

For the first time, New To Education is now capable of supporting in-person educational services in select locations. Initially, these services will be available only in Tokyo and Kanagawa while we evaluate the program, gather feedback, and continue refining our systems.

To help cover transportation costs, a travel surcharge of approximately $20 USD will apply to face-to-face bookings. For the safety of all participants, sessions must take place in approved public locations. Private residences, including student and tutor homes, are not approved meeting locations.

While online tutoring remains at the heart of our platform, we recognize that some students benefit from face-to-face interaction. This pilot program allows us to explore how technology and in-person learning can work together while maintaining safety, flexibility, and accessibility.

Launching face-to-face educational services requires much more than simply allowing in-person bookings. It involves training, safety procedures, scheduling systems, communication tools, and ongoing support. As we continue improving the program, additional resources and training materials will be added to the Knowledge Base available to approved tutors and organizations.

Although this program is currently limited to Japan, it represents an important milestone as we continue exploring new ways to support student learning.

Group Classes and Seminars Are Now Available

We are also pleased to announce that our seminar and group learning system is now operational.

Premium Tutors and Premium Business Profiles can now host group classes, workshops, webinars, and seminars directly through the platform. This creates new opportunities for educators, organizations, and professionals to reach larger audiences while sharing their expertise in a structured and interactive environment.

For students and families, these group learning opportunities can provide access to specialized topics, guest speakers, career development sessions, language learning experiences, educational workshops, and collaborative learning environments that may not always be available through traditional one-on-one tutoring.

We believe learning happens in many different ways. While personalized tutoring remains one of our core services, group learning experiences create additional opportunities for individuals

Expanding International Payment Options

One of the most common requests we have received from tutors and professionals around the world relates to payment flexibility.

Our development team is actively working on integrating both PayPal and Wise into the platform. This effort is part of our broader goal of making New To Education more accessible to qualified educators, creators, businesses, and professionals regardless of where they live.

I would like to personally recognize our development team for their dedication throughout this process. They have spent countless hours researching solutions, communicating directly with payment providers, attending meetings, testing systems, and working through technical challenges to identify options that better support our international community.

Their commitment to improving the platform has been outstanding, and we are grateful for their continued efforts.

Improvements to Our Hiring Process

As New To Education continues to expand, we are also strengthening our hiring and onboarding processes.

Future applicants will be asked to provide a resume, an introduction video, and documentation supporting their qualifications, such as degrees, certifications, licenses, or other relevant credentials.

These updates are part of our ongoing effort to maintain quality standards and help ensure that students, parents, businesses, and organizations have access to qualified professionals through the platform.

We expect to reopen hiring opportunities soon and encourage interested individuals to visit our careers page for future announcements and updates.

The New To Education Mobile Application

Another major project currently underway is the development of the official New To Education mobile application.

Our goal is to launch the application within the next two months. The mobile app is being designed to improve communication, scheduling, notifications, account management, and the overall user experience.

As New To Education expands into additional services and continues developing face-to-face learning opportunities, the mobile application will play an important role in helping students, parents, tutors, businesses, and organizations stay connected and informed.

We believe the future of learning should be accessible wherever people are, and mobile technology will help us move closer to that goal.

Continuing Platform Improvements

Building a platform is an ongoing process, and we understand that users may occasionally encounter bugs, errors, or unexpected issues.

Our team continues to work daily on improvements, optimizations, and fixes across the platform. Several updates are already scheduled for deployment, while additional enhancements remain in active development.

We appreciate the patience, feedback, and support shown by our community as we continue strengthening and refining the systems that power New To Education.

Building Trust Through Community Participation

One of the things that makes New To Education unique is that we are working to build more than a booking platform. We are building a community where learning, teaching, creativity, and professional growth can exist together.

For tutors, businesses, organizations, affiliates, and creators, remaining active on the platform helps others better understand who you are and what you bring to the community. Writing blogs, publishing ebooks, creating courses, hosting webinars, completing profiles, and sharing educational content all help showcase expertise and experience.

For students and parents, this activity provides greater transparency. It allows families to learn more about educators, organizations, and service providers before making a booking or purchasing a service. A blog article, webinar, course, or educational resource often provides a much deeper understanding of a person's knowledge and teaching style than a profile alone.

We believe people should be able to see expertise in action. The more educational content that is shared within the community, the more opportunities there are for everyone to learn from one another.

Looking Ahead

Many of the features we are introducing are still in their early stages, but they represent the direction we believe education and professional services are heading.

Our vision extends beyond traditional tutoring. We envision a platform where students can find support, educators can share knowledge, businesses can connect with communities, organizations can expand their impact, and creators can showcase their work—all within one ecosystem.

There is still much to build, and there will undoubtedly be challenges along the way. However, we remain committed to continuous improvement and to creating opportunities that benefit learners, educators, professionals, businesses, and organizations around the world.

Whether you are a student, parent, educator, business owner, creator, or simply someone interested in lifelong learning, we invite you to follow our journey and explore the opportunities available through New To Education.

Thank you for being part of our growing community. We are excited about what comes next.
